THEMBELANI JENTILE, born 1979/07/19, is married to Refilwe since 2003 November. They are blessed with three boys: Siphosethu Gareaipha (06), Lubabalo Omolemo (4), and Ntuthuko Oratile (02).

As an ordained preacher of the gospel, marriage officer and a member in good standing with the Baptist Convention of South Africa, Rev. Jentile is the Senior Pastor at Mamelodi Baptist Church, East of Pretoria, South Africa since 2003 June 1st . The Church has recently built a sanctuary which can accommodate plus/minus 2000 people.

Rev. Jentile is a firm believer in education; as such he holds his:

• Diploma in Ministry and Diploma in Theology with Distinctions from the Baptist Convention College, 2003;
• Advanced Certificate in the Art of Congregational Leadership from the University of Pretoria 2011;
• Honours Bachelor of Theology from the University of South Africa (UNSA), 2009.
• He is currently studying towards his Masters in Theology with UNISA specialising in New Testament.

Rev. Jentile has excavated in Israel’s Tel Hatzor for three weeks as a UNISA’s archaeological department volunteer, from the invitation of Prof. Amnon Ben Tor of the Jerusalem Hebrew University.   

A passionate writer, he is a columnist at national newspaper, Sunday Sun; a regular contributor at national magazine, Move Magazine; a columnist at a regional magazine, Lets Praise Magazine; a regular guest at Radio Pulpit, a national Christian Radio station.

Jentile has self-published his sermons into two books so far REPAIRING BROKEN ALTARS (2005), and BROKEN BUT BLESSED (2012).

He has spoken in numerous conferences and seminars on Leadership, Marriage and Christian Life in general. Rev. Jentile has preached at the Baptist Convention of South Africa annual assembly twice, and was honoured to share the word at the Baptist World Alliance’s Living Water Conference in Mozambique. He has also led a mission’s trip to Zambia in 2009 and preached there for a week. In 2004 he preached in Austria and Germany for three months in different churches.
